The American Freedom Defence Initiative (AFDI), which has a name that’s totally not compensating for anything, has launched a series of subway ads in Washington D.C. and New York that may be described as “racist” (because they are). The Ad reads out: “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. SupportIsrael, Defeat jihad.” The Council of Islamic-American Relations (CAIR) had responded to the inflammatory posters by also purchasing ad space in the subway and depicting a girl in a Hijab with a quote from the Quran: “Show forgiveness, speak for justice and avoid the ignorant.” The AFDI and their leader Pamela Geller responded to this by submitting (not approved yet) an ad depicting a picture of the world trade centre burning to the ground with 2 quotes from the Quran: | “Slay the unbelievers wherever ye find them” “Those who disbelieve our revelations- we shall expose them to the fire. As often as their skins are consumed, we shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment.” If I may break my otherwise calm blog persona for just a moment; Ahem, GODAMN! NOW THAT’S RACIST! I imagine neonazis and members of the KKK looking at that ad and saying, “Actually Bubba, that’s a bit much for my taste.” Although, I suppose it’s not all bad. It’s nice when people expose their true colours. Speaking of which, I’m sorry to admit this, but I now work for the AFDI and have created 3 anti-islamic advertisements on their behalf. Hopefully these will go towards exposing the truth about Islam. *Info taken from TIME |
